Missions Day 1:

  • Thailand. Made up of Buddhists where the team of our missionaries provide food to people who are hungry.  They build relationships so they can tell people how important they are to God. Jesus is the one true God.
  • Chery Family, missionary family in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  They were born in Haiti but moved to the US before their children were born.   They speak several languages:  French, Haitian Creole and English.

Missions Day 2:
  • Dr. Drbyshire is a doctore and he is a misisonary in Thailand.  Medical missionaries share how God cares about the people.  Their message is only Jesus cant ake away sins.
  • Parents Noelson and Edna grew up in Haiti, but now live in Philadelphia.  Their family reached out to a friend anmed Keysha Rene.  It is hard to find a church for her and for older folks that meets their needs.  They started a bible study in English, where more people began to attend.

Missions Day 3:
  • In Thailand, missionaries find ways to share Jesus.  The video today speaks of how they share Jesus in a gym and they meet peopel llike Nathan and Nett.  Thai kids like playing, jumping and stretching.
  • The Cherrys not only started a bible study.   They began a karate studio and they share Jesus there.   They set up every week so that Jesus can be shared.   They bring bibles, microphoens, guitars, chords, paper, pens, and toys for kids.

Missions Day 4
  • Missionaries in Thailand give food to people, help them when they are sick, and exercise with people.  While they are doing these things, they talk about Jesus.  This day, children will learn some keywords like: lanterns, forgive, gospel, cofee shop, and tablet.
  • The first thing Pastor Chery and his team did was go out on the street and tell people the good news about Jesus.   The gospel is the good news.  Jesus took the punishment for our sin when He died on the crosss. When we understand and believe it, we can be forgiven and live with Him forever.

Missions Day 5
  • While watching the Thai video, the children will look out for these words:  glasses, Scripture, cap, culture and worry.   The Wrights gave readin gglasses to the people in thailand to help read the Bible.
  • At the first Haitian Metanoia Baptist Church, people of all ages have a job to do.  Even kids do things like lead worship, run the sound board, or even teach (with the pastor's help).
